3rd Six Weeks ~ 11/27/17 - 01/19/2018
December Literacy Night
On December 6, 2017 students and parents were able to come together to enjoy reading in the library after school from 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm. Parents and students were able to also AR Test books they read. Thank you to all who joined us!
T-Stem Senior teaches Dash & Dot to 5th Grade
On December 15, 2017, Senior Maria Rocha took a little time off her busy schedule to come and teach Mrs. Gonzalez 5th Grade students how to learn with the robots Dash & Dot!
Thank you Ms. Maria Rocha, our students sure learned a lot from your expertise!
Santa Stops by Henry Ford Elementary
Before Santa started his deliveries he stopped by Henry Ford on December 20, 2017 to drop off books to our PPCD, PK3, PK - 2nd grade students.
The students also enjoyed some caroling from our Mustang Choir under the direction of Mr. Sandoval.
Henry Ford Students were definitely all booked up during the holiday vacations!
City Of Pharr Recycling Center
On Janurary 12, 2018 students were able to learn the importance of Recycling by our very own City of Pharr Recycling Center. Our students were able to gain knowledge in regards to the 3 R's which are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle! Thank you City of Pharr Employee Crystal Medina for the all the goodies that were provided for us!
Texas Blue Bonnet Competition
On January 19, 2018 our 5th grade students from Mrs. De La Garza - Joseph Garcia, Mrs. Gonzalez - Sophia Lara, Mr. Ramos - Valeria Gutierrez were able to participate and do extraordinary in our yearly Texas Battle of the Books! Way to go Mustangs!
Winter Texans - Tropic Clowns Visit
On February 24, 2018 our students from Kinder - 2nd grade were able to enjoy being read by clowns! How fun is that? Students were able to engage into a geographical discussion with the clowns and ask them where they were from! Definitely an incredible experience for them!
