T3 Team Spotlight

1. What is your favorite aspect of the Three to Six Plane of Development?

Zach: There's so much to love, but I think my favorite aspect is seeing the emergence of the child's personality, and I love being part of the early stages of their journey to being the people they're going to be for the rest of their lives!

2. What is a sweet moment you have experienced this school year?

Lina: A few weeks ago, a parent told me that their child told them that her guides help her heart grow! It was really sweet.

3. Name something that people generally think very young children cannot do, but you have seen them do.

Sydney: Cook a complete breakfast!

4. If you could own only one book on early childhood, which book would you pick?

Zach: I would pick the Tao of Montessori. I've been reading it throughout my training, and I think it's full of beautiful wisdom on living and being with our students. Every chapter I read is the exact words that I needed!

Lights Out, Texas!

Did you know that nearly two billion birds migrate through Texas every spring? They often travel at night, and artificial light can confuse and disorient them, causing them to collide with buildings. How can you help? I'm glad you asked! All you have to do is turn off all nonessential lighting from 11pm to 6am. Peak migration is from April 22 - May 12, so save birds and money by turning off your lights as much as possible during this time.

Happy Birthday!
