Federal Emergency Relief Association

Plans for the FERA

The FERA was an organization bent on trying to establish a money profit for local relief agencies. In the short span of a few hours Hopkins had given out at least 5 million.

The organization was a success and helped out many relief programs to help the citizens. It made the Relief programs like new.

How it Helped

One of Franklin D. Roosevelt's first organizations that helped nearly 20 million people. This help included street construction/repair, flood control, and even creating projects for children.
