Principal's Notes
This week we had our Back to School Night, our first Dress Down Day, MAP Testing, our Band presentation, and the Mass of the Holy Spirit! We were indeed very busy.
I would like to thank all of the parents that ventured out on Monday night for our Back to School Night. We had great attendance, despite the weather. I hope that you were all able to meet your child's teacher(s), and get a feel for what their school day is like. We have even gotten some parents to sign up for our future events. If you would like to volunteer for any of our events, please do not hesitate to contact our ICS-FA.
MAP Testing began this week and will continue into next week. As I walked around the building, I saw our students working hard. This makes all of us extremely proud of our students!
The first Dress Down Day was a success! This week is a free Spirit Day. This is not considered a traditional dress down day. Students will be permitted to wear ICS Spirit Wear only. Of course students may opt to wear the school uniform designated for that day as well. You can purchase Spirit Wear at Liebman's.
I would like to thank Ms. Kayla Olivieri for preparing the 7th Grade for the Mass of the Holy Spirit, and the 7th Grade for doing such a wonderful job. This is my favorite mass of the year because it is the first time we come together to celebrate the Holy Eucharist. Fr. Sorgie's homily and pictures of the Mass can be found below.
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation,
Michelle LaMassa - Principal

Lunch Service
Dear ICS Families,
As you know, we are making some changes to our kitchen. We are hoping to get this done as quickly as possible. Due to the work that needs to be done, we will need to delay the start of our Happy Kid Lunch service until the work is complete. If you have already pre-ordered meals, Happy Kid Lunch will refund you your money. When lunch service is able to begin, you will be notified well in advance so that you may pre-order your child’s lunch.
For the time being, you must send your child in with lunch, including a drink and snack. Please no glass bottles. We apologize for the inconvenience, but when the work is done, it will be highly beneficial for our ICS Community,
Thank you for your support,
Michelle LaMassa - Principal
