Chaim Tzvikat is losing his mind, his family thinks. He has fallen under the influence of a Hasidic sect that encourages joyful dancing in the streets. His family thinks its a cult, and their neighbors in the quiet upscale town of Netanya are not amused. November 14, 2013.
House on Grodno St. at Goodlooks Theatre
86 year-old Isaac Gloiberman lost his home in the downturn and has moved in with his 30-something grandson, having lost his only son to tragedy, and the two bond as they learn the hidden history of their family. January 30, 2014.
Waistcoat Fire Diaries at Readers Theatre
The fire that consumed the Triangle Waistcoat Factory in 1911 claimed 146 lives, primarily Yiddish-speaking immigrant women. Their previously unknown lives come to life onstage for this Chicago debut. March 29, 2014.
