The Desert Climate!
The Desert can have the hottest and coldest temperature on Earth. It is like a polar climate at night or morning which can be less than 10 degrees Celisus and the hottest temperature can be more than 40 degrees Celisus. The hottest desert in the world is called the Sahara desert and the coldest desert in the world is Antarctica. Plants and animals needs speacial features to survive in these conditions.
The Cobra has adapted to it's environment by it's fangs, colours and hood. Its hood is an adaptation because it flares out when its about to attack. This is a signal to warn other animals to stay away. The Cobra's colours helps it to camouflage and blend in with its environment. It also have fangs which makes it easier for it to hunt and eat.
The Meerkat has adapted to its environment by its digging skills, clear eyes and ears. It's digging skills help it makes a burrow to live in and to keep it cool. It also has clear eyes that shields them from dirt while digging and from sandstorm. The meerkat also have black rings around it eyes to see better in bright sunlight. The meerkat's ears close tightly to keep dirt out and sand.

The Texas Horned Lizard has a werid but amazing adaptation. It has adapted to its environment by its eyes, colour and skills which allows it to survive in its environment. It has a blood shooting defense that shoot from the corner of the lizard eyes that scare predators away. Its also can camouflage itself so it's harder for predators to spot.
The Fish Hook Cactus
The Fish Hook Cactus adaptation comes from it thorns and skills. It thorns help it to shade the growing tip of the plant. It also has skills to learn further toward the sun as they grow.
The Old Man Cactus
The Old Man Cactus adaptation come from it colour and what it absorbs. It white colour reflect a small portion of the sun ray. Also when its raining it absorb most of the water that it hit.
The Brittle Bush
The Brittle Bush adaptation comes from it leaves, little tick hairs and skills. It leaves are covered with thick little hairs which protects it from predators. the plant also store lots of water to survive in the heat.
