STUDENT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The CTC hosted three different "Student Professional Development" days throughout the school year. Forty different businesses and colleges set up at our College and Career Fair held in October. Instructors also invited individuals from their industry in to speak to the students about job requirements, skills needed, etc. Students were also able to learn about financial aid. The second Student PD Day was Mock Interviews held in December for half of the student body and again in March for the other half of the student body. Students completed an application and resume and went through a mock interview with area business leaders. The third and final one of the school year was a "Soft Skills Boot Camp" held on March 22. The 4 C's (communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity) was a huge focus this school year. Students rotated through four different stations on each of the 4 C'S.
