Dear Parents/Guardians,

Although this school year has been challenging, we are confident our students are ready and have the skills necessary to be successful on the upcoming EOY (end of year) assessments. Please note the dates that important testing will be taking place. While MAP testing will continue to be administered virtually, please see the note below about STAAR testing.

**We are required to administer the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) test in person, on campus for all students in eligible grades, including those students receiving online instruction this year. Please see the attached parent letter for more information. If your student is a remote learner and will not be coming to school due to COVID-19 concerns, please fill out this form for every student that is in a testing grade. Students should be dropped off at 8:30 AM on their designated testing day. They will need to bring a lunch or may purchase one from the school. Virtual students will test in our testing center (the gym). We will call parents to pick up students once they have completed the test.

Teacher Appreciation Videos

Our teachers do so much for us every single day. It's important for us to let them know why we appreciate everything that they do for us. Record a short video to share why you appreciate your teacher. We want them to feel the love!

In your video you may:

-Wish all teachers a happy Teacher Appreciation Week
-Thank a specific teacher or group of teachers (in this case, put his or her name in the title of your video)
-Use three words to describe why you love your teacher
-Something else to show your appreciation

Dear Parents,

The success of the district and our schools relies on building strong, trusting relationships with our families and listening to our students. Our School Culture Survey is designed to foster open communication and strengthen those relationships, as well as to improve the quality of our schools.

The survey is open March 23, 2021 April, 2021. It asks for feedback on academic preparation, student support, safety and behavior, school leadership, and family involvement. We’ll use the results to help determine our strengths, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop responsive action plans. Please see link below:
