Lighthouse in October
Spiritual Warfare in October
The month of October has been set aside as a month of spiritual warfare at the Lighthouse.
We will be spending time praying over our petition prayers lining the walls of the main room. We will take communion collectively on Sunday evenings.
We are encouraging folks to participate in the following:
- Individual time in the church building praying over our petitions.
- Communion Sunday evenings.
- Prayers of agreement with other believers in the church building.
Prayer times are as follows:
9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings in October
6:00 p.m. Sunday evenings
5:30 p.m. Monday evenings
5:00 p.m. Tuesday evenings in October
4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoons in October
We are believing God for breakthrough in October. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to dig into the Word and construct prayers for the church.
We are extremely grateful to the Team Jesus folks for their ministry last month. Please take a moment to jot down a note of thanks to encourage them; we will send our "thank you's" out to them this month.
Danny turns 30!
We will be participating in the Mount Ayr Beggar’s Bash at Judge Lewis Park from 5:00 p.m.—6:30 p.m. The even happens Sunday afternoon, October 4th. We are playing plinko for prizes! We will hand out invitations for “Hallelujah-ween” as well as candy. There will be no evening service because of this commitment.
The Crew loves Hallelujah-ween and we are planning a great time for Wednesday, October 21st. Get your costumes out and prepare to be impressed by the pageantry. It’s Crew Hallejujah-ween! We will get postcards ready to send out. Do you know a elementary school kid who would enjoy Crew? Be sure to drop them a postcard. The hayride will be taking folks to the Haunted Barn so beware!
