Students in Mrs. Leal's 5th Grade class got to play games like Scooter Basketball, Team Dodgeball, the Opposites Game, Team Dodgeball with Spies, Hula Hut Knockdown, International Team Handball, Mat Ball, etc. Here is a picture of Mrs. Leal's students playing Scooter Basketball. Two teams sit on scooters and must pass the gator skin foam ball to each other and score into the opposing teams 6' Basket for points. It's a great team work, fitness game.

Students in Mrs. Lewis's 2nd Grade class got to play with the Parachute activity this month. Students learned how to make an igloo, mushroom, do Michael Jackson's Moon Walk, Color exchange, there's a Bigfoot outside, the Rocking Chair, small and big waves, row the boat, shark attack game, the tidal wave, the flying leaf, popcorn, the flying penguin, dancing with the stars, rock and roll, cat and mouse, volcano, the roulette wheel, the titanic, nascar racers, surfers on the water, skindivers under the water,
the flying carpet, etc.

5th grade studied the artist Jean Michele Basquait. They learned about his style of art, using elements of art. They created abstract self portraits focusing on heavy lines and color and using words of impact as their final step.
