Officer Elections
It is time to elect band board officers. The following positions are elected annually:
- President
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Fundraising Coordinator
- Engagement Coordinator
- Events Coordinator
- Secretary
Interested candidates should send their bio to officers@fcbands.org by noon on Saturday, March 6th. Review the attachment below for details.
Hosted Events - Help Needed
IHSCGA Hosted Event - March 27th - Volunteers NEEDED
Franklin Central Bands is very excited to host the state finals for IHSCGA on Saturday, March 27th. These events are a tremendous fundraiser and make up a huge portion of our budget. Without these events, your fees would be higher. We need EVERY band family to volunteer and help make this event a success so these opportunities continue to come.

FCPS Places 2nd at Greenfield Central!
FC Percussion Symphony placed 2nd Saturday night with a score of 81.55 at Greenfield Central. They revealed more of their show and it is absolutely amazing! You can find all scores on the Indiana Percussion Association website: Feb. 27th IPA Scores
Thank You!
Thank you to all the parents that have volunteered their time so far this season. It does not go unnoticed! If you have donated food, built props, decorated the hallway, taken pictures, altered uniforms or just came and cheered for these kids, THANK YOU! I know they love and appreciate all that you do!

Band Payment
Our 4th payment of $170 is due Monday, March 1st. Please be sure to make your payments on time. If you need to set up a payment plan or discuss payment arrangements, please reach out to the Band Booster Treasurer at: treasurer@fcbands.org

The next competition will be held at Zionsville High School this Saturday, March 6th. Only 2 parents/guardians per guard member are able to attend at this time. Tickets are $7 and sold at the door, credit card only.

Box Truck Driver Needed
We need a box truck driver for the March 27 competition. If interested, please send an email to guardliaison@fcbands.org.
Spirit and Food Donations
With the show season in full swing, please check your email for spirit and food donation sign ups. The guard parents have a history of putting together treat bags and lunches for the guard members before each show.

Franklin Central Bands will be introducing a new line of spirit wear that you can sport ALL YEAR LONG! FCCG (Franklin Central Color Guard) wear will be available soon and it will include an expanded product line. Stay tuned for the exciting announcement!
Spring Flower Fundraiser - March 15th
The Spring Flower Fundraiser is Coming!
On Monday, March 15th we will kick off the Spring Flower Fundraiser. We will be selling 9 varieties of 9" hanging baskets that will be delivered before Mother's Day (May 9th). The money raised will go to student band accounts for the purpose of funding marching band fees. Watch for more details in the coming weeks.
