Upcoming Clubs and Sports
Daniel Wright offers students the opportunity to participate in sports and clubs after school. The extracurricular activities are open to all Daniel Wright students. Typically, fee payments are not due until after students join the team or club.
Spirit Team (Cheer & Pom) is open to all DW students. Check the website for tryout information. Please make sure you have a signed permission form to participate for tryouts.
Boys Basketball is about to get underway for Grades 7-8. Check the website for tryout information.
Clubs and Activities
Cricket Club is Daniel Wright’s newest after school activity. Players will meet every week to drill and play a game with full-size teams. No previous cricket experience is required.
Free to Be is a support and social group.
Math Team explores a variety of math problems and members participate in competitions.
Newspaper members create a publication that conveys facts and information about our current world/school situation. A student editor-in-chief and a student editorial staff work closely with writers, artists, photographers, and graphic artists to coordinate outstanding content.
Scholastic Bowl is an academic buzzer competition similar to Jeopardy but with teams testing their knowledge in literature, science, math, and more.
Science Fair encourages students to independently develop a scientific question to explore and design an experiment or design and build a new device.
Student Council provides opportunities for students to demonstrate their talents, skills, and interests while continuing to develop leadership skills.
Yearbook participants edit, design and create the student yearbook.
Wright Way members organize local and global fundraisers.
