NMPED Announces School Reopening
First day back is April 5, 2021
In-Person Learning Soon
The New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) has announced that all schools will return to in-person learning for all students by April 5, 2021. RRVCS will work to have our school approved by the NMPED/Fire Marshal in the coming weeks. Once we have approval we will invite students back to campus. It is my responsibility to let you know that the recommended social distancing of 6 feet will not be possible in all classrooms. The NMPED has stated to schools that if social distancing of 6 feet is not possible, then we must distance to the greatest extent the space provides.
RRVCS, under the direction of the NMPED and is phasing out remote and hybrid learning. The school day will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and some Fridays. IF you choose to keep your child(ren) at home, lessons will be live streamed each school day and on-line learners will participate in the class while remaining at home.
Full re-entry means that all students will participate every school day. This will not be a hybrid model. Students will be on campus Monday-Thursday and scheduled Fridays from the designated re-opening day until the close of the school year unless otherwise directed by the NMPED.

If your child(ren) does not bring one, one will be provided. However, please make every effort to send a mask each day. Masks must be double layer. Handkerchiefs, buffs, neck gaiters, and bandanas are examples of unacceptable facial coverings.
