Toys for Tots

Big Hollow Schools are proud to have Toys for Tots donation bins in each office. Please feel free to donate new, unwrapped toys at any of our schools. Donation bins will be in each office until Thursday, December 15.

Morning Drop Off

Please remember that the drop off lane is open on school days from 8:15-8:35 am only. Any other time of the day you must park in a designated space in the parking lot. When using the drop off lane, be sure that your students exit on the sidewalk side only. Parents may not exit the vehicle. Be sure students only exit the vehicle when you are in between the primary and elementary crosswalks. Please DO NOT let your children exit the vehicle at anytime before the elementary crosswalk. Thank you for following our safety rules!

So many activities, so little time . . .

Students who are involved in extracurricular activities, from chess club to cheerleading to chorus, tend to have higher self-esteem and stronger connections to school. But an overloaded schedule with too many activities can have the opposite effect, leaving kids and parents stressed out. Visitors to Big Hollow

Just a reminder that all visitor's to Big Hollow must check in at the office. Visitor's will have their Driver's License scanned and a visitor's pass issued. You will need to re-scan your license every year. Please note that on days when we have a lot of visitors (classroom celebrations) there may be a long line to wait in. You can visit the office to have your license scanned days or even weeks ahead of time. Please call the school office if you have any questions. Primary: 847-740-5320 and Elementary 847-740-5321
