Organization of Knowledge
Lorie, Rachel, Lucinda
What is organization of knowledge?
Organization of knowledge is how a teacher packages the information. Organization can include the method in which it is delivered to students and how students pursuit further knowledge outside the classroom. Organization is important because we need to support lifelong learners capable of organizing their own acquired information.
Phil Schlechty
"How do we create activities in the classroom that will lead kids to pursuit the knowledge outside the classroom."
Phil Schlechty
"It is a mistake to let students preferred learning styles dictate the way knowledge will be organized, though these styles should be honored when it is possible to do so without violating the intentions of the work."
