Thanksgiving dinner for families

JCYF is hosting Thanksgiving for Everyone again this year. It is a FREE Thanksgiving dinner. This year, we are doing it drive-thru style. Families will drive up and tell us how many meals they need. They will get to-go boxes filled with ham, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, corn, green beans, stuffing, and rolls for the entire family. There will be plenty of food for everyone.

This dinner will be at the Community Building on Nov. 21 from 6-9 PM.

Principal Note

Dear parents and students,

Just a reminder that we communicate a lot through classroom Dojo so please stay connected and checking regularly. We hope that you and your families stay safe and remember that we are stronger together. Wishing you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving and hope to see you soon!

Title 1 Literacy Tip of the Week

Use a map to find directions for a trip you are going on, or follow the journeys of people on travel and adventure programs.

Birthday Celebrations

Just a quick reminder, that if your student will be celebrating a birthday and you are wanting to bring classroom celebration goodies, please check-in with your students teacher for a good day to bring those in. Also, the goodies will need to be individually wrapped and store bought.

Thank You!

Outside Recess

It is that time of year again where the temperatures outside require a jacket. Please be sure to send your student to school with a jacket, hat and gloves. We have outdoor recesses as long as weather will allow it.
