Vision & Hearing Screenings
All 7th graders and any student who is new to Loudoun County Schools will be screened for both Vision and Hearing. Parents are requested to make sure their child is sent to school on the screening days with their prescription glasses or contact lenses.

This photo day is for students who were absent, new to the school, or who were not happy with their original package (students are required to return their original package to the photographer).
In an effort to not have all students leaving class for no reason, we have a list of criteria for underclass makeup day to reference here, vosphoto.com/retakes.

Loudoun County Public School’s Academies of Loudoun Admissions & Outreach Office is excited to announce that the 2021 Fall Admissions Cycle for 8th graders interested in applying to the Academy of Engineering & Technology (AET) program and/or the Academy of Science (AOS) program for the 2022-2023 school year has been extended until 11:00 P.M. on Monday, October 25, 2021.

How Families and Schools Can Partner for Student Success.” We are looking forward to sharing our commitment to fostering a collaborative culture of family engagement, preparing for parent-teacher conferences, understanding student schedules, and implementing strong homework strategies at home. SCA THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE
Our Student Club SCA is kicking off a Food Drive on Monday, to benefit Loudoun Hunger Relief! Our SCA students will be collecting items such as canned foods, cereal, granola bars, cooking oil, peanut butter, rice, pasta, shelf-stable milk, and soup. Collection boxes are located in the school lobby and each House. Please consider helping this effort that benefits our Loudoun County community!
PARENT LIAISON UPDATE
Now that October is here, our thoughts turn to chilly weather. If you have coats and jackets that you no longer need, please consider donating to our winter coat drive! Items donated will be offered to those in the community who are in need of cold weather wear. I am currently welcoming donations of new or gently used coats, jackets, hats, gloves, and snow pants in mens, womens, girls', boys', and babies sizes. Items should all be clean and in great condition. There is a box for donations in the Belmont Ridge lobby, and you are welcome to drop off your items during school hours. If you are unable to drop off during the school day, please contact me at Susan.Ferguson@lcps.org to make other arrangements. THANK YOU!
