Dear Anasazi Families,
At its November 4th meeting, the SUSD Governing Board approved instructional learning models for K-12 students for the spring semester, beginning Jan. 4, 2021.

Start: 48:15
Finish: 3:25:38
All current Enhanced Distance Learning (EDL) and Scottsdale Online students (SOL) will receive a commitment form on November 6th to select a learning model for the spring semester with detailed information about the models. This form will contain a student-specific link. This selection is a commitment for a learning model for January through May 2021. Changes will only be made due to extenuating circumstances after requesting a model change through a formal process and will be based on availability.
In-person students will be scheduled to continue with in-person learning for the spring semester. No steps are needed to continue with in-person learning. Students who are learning on campus will not receive a second semester commitment form. However, if you would like to change from in-person learning to at-home learning in January, please email me by midnight on November 12th to request a model change.
Additional information and resources regarding the Semester 2 learning options are provided below. The video provides more specifics.
*Gifted PACT SOL and EDL families will receive a letter this weekend with additional information.
Thank you for your continued support,
Ms. Waldron
Starting in January there will be Early Release Wednesdays every week.

Notes from Nurse Renee
Just a reminder: Masks should be washed regularly and worn for just one school day. Our Anasazi students are active and their masks are getting soiled, inside and outside.
- Include your mask with your regular laundry
- Use regular laundry detergent and the warmest appropriate water setting for the cloth used to make the mask
- Use the highest heat setting and leave in the dryer until completely dry
Need an option for free masks:
The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) has partnered with Hanes to provide free face masks to those who need them. Anyone who is a student (or parents on behalf of students) or school staff member, or anyone who may not be able to purchase a mask, can order them at no cost. Each order will provide 5 washable, reusable cloth face masks, one order per household. To order your free masks on the ADHS website, click here Version OptionsK-12 Schools and Childcare Facilities Headline.
