TPS summer sports teams are now in full swing. Nga mihi to those parents who have kindly taken on the role of parent helper for each of our after-school sports teams. After-school sports teams are parent-led, so these teams cannot happen without your generosity. I do have coaching resources available for anyone who would like more information and I am always available via email for any questions or concerns you may have. Remember that children play sport for enjoyment and that winning is only part of the fun, so praise effort and performance over results.
Although the local sports competitions have begun, we do have space available in the following sports teams. If your child is interested in joining one of these teams, please email me and we can organise their registration.

TPS Sporting Superstars
Kia waimarie to our Top Schools team who will compete at the annual event next Thursday, 2nd March. The team has devoted many lunch times to mastering the fun yet challenging activities. Support and encouragement for our team on the night would be greatly appreciated, so pop down to Gate Pa School for a night full of action and excitement!
Georgia A represented Bellevue Athletics Club at the Waikato / BOP Athletics Day at the Tauranga Domain on Saturday. Georgia performed exceptionally well on the track, finishing 2nd in the 60m sprints, 2nd in the 80m sprints and 3rd in the mixed team relay.
