Daily Self-Certification Process for In-Person Students
Parents/Guardians will be required to self-certify their child's health status on all in-person attendance days. You can view a tutorial video to explain how to complete this process in ParentVUE HERE.
If self-certification is not completed, students may be held from class until a staff member is able to contact a parent to complete the process via the app or by phone.
We ask that you please monitor your child's health closely and keep them home if they are not feeling well. You can report your child's absence by calling the school or by using the ParentVUE app.
If the app is ever not working properly, please use this PAPER COPY and submit to staff upon arrival.

Safety Protocols
Staff will guide students in social distancing expectations throughout the building. Parents can reinforce by encouraging their child(ren) to listen to staff and follow their directions. The building has been updated with significant signage and floor arrows to support traffic flow and distancing in all areas.
Regular handwashing will be encouraged and in some cases supervised. All learning spaces have been equiped with hand sanitizer for use by staff and students when handwashing is not possible.
Students will not share materials at school. Classroom teachers will communicate with families what materials in-person students will need in their backpack or in their desks at school.
For Parents of Students with Medications and Emergency Plans
In anticipation of in-person learning resuming, please contact your doctor’s office to complete your child’s emergency plan or medication order. With many districts in the area planning a return to school the physicians’ offices will become busier, making it more difficult to obtain these completed forms in a timely manner.
Please contact our nurse, Jaime DiGiovanni, to set up a time to drop off your child’s medication at 630-428-7110. Remember, the medications must be in the original labeled container and the dose must match the written order.
