SacramentoPRAYS

Uniting people to pray in the Greater Sacramento Region.

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.” - Ephesians 4:4-6

Where is PRAYER in the Sacramento Region?

"Rejoice Always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit;" 1 Thesselonians 5:16-19.

Where is PRAYER in the Sacramento Region?

My eyes swell with tears of awe and thanksgiving in response to this question. God is doing an amazing work in the hearts and lives of His people in this region - beyond what we can think or imagine! God is stirring his people toward prayer in profound ways. First, there is a notable increase in faith that God hears our prayers and that He WANTS us to come to Him with our requests. Second, God is significantly healing and freeing us to enjoy the way He has specifically created each of us. As a result, many people have become more comfortable with their own prayer lives and their particular style of prayer, no longer comparing themselves with others. Instead, people have their gaze on the Living God and are rejoicing in Him. Third, and vitally connected with these first two points, God is growing worship-based prayer that is focused on exalting His greatness first and foremost, and then sharing our very real requests to Him that may remain. There is healing and freedom is His presence and in remembering and speaking out His greatness. With this, everything else in our lives just seems to fall into perspective.

In this issue, we want to share many of the corporate prayer opportunities we are aware of in the Sacramento Region. Please also take this opportunity to let us know about what is happening in your area of the region! You can let us know at our website sacprays.com.

PRAYER FOR LIFE

Prayers at 1442 Ethan Way continue year-round on abortion mornings,

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 9-11.

Presentation Parish has dedicated themselves to faithfully praying and offering assistance to women at this location. Many babies have been saved through prayer, love, and encouragement! If you work during the week or have school and would like to pray on Saturdays there at 2322 Butano, please email Mary or call her at 916-580-4206. Just think if every church in California found the nearest abortion business and took seriously the lives that are being killed there~ What a difference that would make!
