Please note: If students commit to attending and change their mind later than Feb 15, students will have to pay the entire conference fee of $250 as we cannot get refunded from Michigan DECA.

Tentative Itinerary (please note times are approximate)
Friday March 10
- Meet in cafeteria at 7:30 am
- Charter bus leaves from HS approx. 7:45 am
- 11:00 am arrival in Detroit, hotel check-in, lunch and dinner on own (food vouchers given)
- 1:00-6:00 pm Event Orientation and Written Events (assigned times per event)
- 9:00 pm Opening Session
- 11:00 pm Curfew
Saturday March 11
- Competitions 9:00 am-6:00 pm (times assigned pending events)
- Chapter Dinner
- DECA sponsored activity (TBA)
- Curfew 11:30
Sunday March 12
- 9:00am -12:30 pm Award Session
- 1:00 pm Depart for home
*Please note: Students will have unsupervised downtime throughout the weekend. Myself or a chaperone will be accessible, but not always physically with students as we are working events.

What to pack: Dress for Competition Success!
You will need to wear dress clothes all three days (event orientation, opening session, role-play/presentations, math and econ exam, and closing session). No denim, cargo, cords, or sneakers allowed for sessions or competition. If you need help getting these items, please do not hesitate to ask. Improper dress code will result in score deductions.
The remainder of the time you may wear school appropriate casual clothing. Be sure to pack a warm jacket and comfortable shoes as you will be walking often!
