Matt's Monday Memo
September 30, 2019
Good morning, Staff,
I am very fortunate to be untethered to a roster each day and have the ability to move throughout the building. It affords me the chance to see the Late-Start work impact on teaching and learning, with increased checking in on students learning via assessment, elevated rigor, and instructional adjustment. I am excited for what students are experiencing and our shared trajectory. We have upcoming PD around some of the more complex aspects of the CLT components in the next month, but in the interim, please let someone on our building learning team or me know how we can support your team.
Please reach out to students and make contact with their home to problem solve as well as invite to upcoming conferences. If conferences are first contact, the work is much more challenging. If you are concerned about making a call, please reach out to an administrator or colleague to support the process.
Have a great week.
Best,
Matt
