Making Plans for your 2022 Winona County Fair Projects?
Make sure you complete the following steps by the deadlines indicated! If you need assistance, give us a phone call or stop in to the office!
If you are showing Livestock Exhibits:
Remember to ID your animals in 4-H Online 2.0 by 11:59 p.m. on May 16th.
When registering animal exhibits in FairEntry it will ask you to connect an animal to the respective class...make sure you have entered your animals in 4-H Online prior to registering in FairEntry. The Winona County 4-H Premium Book will be helpful for this part.
If you are unsure of which of your children will be exhibiting which animal please enter them as closely as you think and we can adjust when they are checked in at the fair.
If you are exhibiting static projects:
There are no processes in 4-H Online you need to complete other than making sure you are enrolled and listed as "approved".
Static/Indoor Judging is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5th at the Winona County Fairgrounds.
Please register for a practical number of static exhibits. There will NOT be a sign-up for judging time slots this year! :)
Remember: If you forget to enter a project in Fair Entry you have until June 1st to add it. Your entries will be automatically approved.

Interested in Theatre, Arts-In or Share the Fun?
Winona County 4-H is looking into the possibility of starting a County Arts-In OR Share the Fun program. If your youth would be interested please complete this survey.
What is County Arts-In and Share the Fun?
Arts-In is an immersive arts experience designed for youth to showcase their learning, skills and talents in performing arts. As an Arts-In participant, you will have an opportunity to create a musical production to be performed. All participants sing, dance and act in the show.
Share the Fun is where 4-H youth perform skits, musical acts, poetry etc. at a county-wide event. The acts can be individuals, groups or clubs. The acts will be judged and the winning group will be eligible for a state fair trip!
4-H Food Stand Committee Meeting
In lieu of Sign-up Genius we are asking each club to send one representative and their top 5 preferred shifts for the 2022 Winona County 4-H Food Stand. Committee members in attendance will work together to create a Food Stand Worker Schedule. Please connect with your club leader to determine the best sign-up slots for your family/club and be sure someone from your club is in attendance! To view the tentative shift times click here.
