History Makers Book Project
The important thing about them...
About the Project
Students will be doing research on their chosen history figure using books and online sources in their library class. Then with the facts gathered, they will be writing a poem about their topic. We will be using a pattern in writing their poems from the book called The Important Book by Margaret Wise Brown.
The Classbook
Each student will write and illustrate a poem on the assigned topic. After the students complete their pages, the teacher/librarian will collect them all and ship them to Studentreasures for publishing. Classbooks will be delivered to Lakeview for distribution the first week of May 2015.
