Congratulations to our Winter Park Winter Guard on their performance at the FFCC Premiere Show held at Dr. Phillips HS this past Saturday! They placed 6th out of 10 in their group, and 11th out of 20 overall.
Just a reminder that Winter Park High School will be hosting the St. Olaf College Band tomorrow evening (Monday, January 30) with their 7 PM concert. Information can be found below or on their Facebook event page. All Winter Park Band students are required to attend and have free admission with their student IDs.
Along with their performance on Monday night, we are very fortunate to have Dr. Timothy Mahr, Director of Bands at St. Olaf College, working with our Wind Ensemble on Tuesday morning from 8:15 AM - 10:30 AM. The rehearsal clinic will take place in the Auditorium, and all are welcome to watch!
Our jazz, S&E, and concert MPA schedules have arrived! Please see the information found below. An itinerary for both Jazz MPA and Concert MPA will be coming soon!
And, finally, a reminder to all parents and students to review the February calendar and our Guest Conductor Workshop/pre-MPA concert schedule. Our guest conductor this year is Dr. Daniel Tembras from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).
All the Best!

Door-2-Door Fundraiser - February 4
Our Door-2-Door Fundraiser held this coming Saturday, February 4, 8 AM – 5 PM, is mandatory for all Band students.
Door-2-Door is our largest and most important fundraiser of the year. In the past few years, the Band has brought in over $20,000 in this one day, and it allows us to keep our Band fees low. We (and you) are counting on 100% participation.
Please report to the Band Room ready to get dressed in your Marching Band uniform. Students who are not in Marching Band should wear their concert dress/tuxedo. Bring bottled water, a light snack and an umbrella with you. A very light breakfast will be served upon your arrival. Do not be late!
