Creating Effective Newsletters
School Library Edition 2017

Your Purpose
Consider your message. Are you sharing exciting news or detailing a new procedure? The content should fit the delivery method. Also consider who you’re sending this to. A one-size-fits-all newsletter is fine for sharing general information, but there are times when you need to reach a specific target market. This is where you apply the idea of the Aristotle’s persuasive devices (Logos, Pathos and Ethos).
