Davenport's Weekly Update

Week of June 19th, 2022

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Greetings Davenport Families!

We have concluded our last week of school! Great job to the staff and students for Finishing Strong. Next school year our theme is "Ohana", which means family. "Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life." - Lisa Weed Here at Davenport, we recognize each other as 1 BIG family. We love our staff and students! We cannot wait to see what 22-23 school year has in store for us!

Congratulations to ALL of our students for moving on to the next grade. We are looking forward to meeting our incoming Kindergartners so we can EMBRACE, ENGAGE, and EDUCATE them.

Have a great summer!

Mrs. White, Principal

AtlantiCare Grant

Many thanks to AtlantiCare for providing each of our schools with a brand new AED unit. Our very own Nurse Randi from Davenport Primary (first from the left), and our soon-to-be retired Nurse Judy from Davenport Elementary (second from right) were at the Board Meeting on June 21st to receive these new machines along with beautiful bouquets for all of their hard work this year!
