Elementary Science
Proper Equipment
ALWAYS make sure that you are wearing appropriate equipment, such as, apron, goggles, gloves, etc. to ensure no damage is done to clothes, skin or eyes.
Readings
ALWAYS read all materials and labels before you begin any science experiment to ensure safety and knowledge of experiment and any products you may be working with.
DO NOT:
Chew Gum
Chemicals that may be used may also get into your mouth and if you are chewing gum, the chemicals may become trapped inside your gum causing further problems.
Leave Longer Hair Down
If your hair is long enough to pull back, you should always do so. Your hair may be putting your in danger by being exposed to chemicals or fires. Your hair may also get in the way of you being able to see.
Eat or Drink
No food or drinks need to be around when conducting an experiment. Foods and drinks can mess up experiments as well as being exposed to things they should not be exposed to.

Use Best Judgement
Use your best judgement when conducting any experiments or labs within your science class. If you are unsure of something always as your teacher. Above all else BE SAFE!
