Happy Monday!

I hope everyone is off to a great start as we enter winter break. Last week, we had our Portfolio meeting and had a productive meeting. And while our team was small, we definitely brought a focused mind to the learning. Click here to get the materials shared from Curriculum and Instruction regarding Balanced Numeracy

As you close out this week, be sure to take time to connect with your teachers and students before break. This is a great time for your administrative and Instructional Leadership Team to ponder these two questions:
- What has worked great during first semester?
- What needs revisiting / updating for second semester?

When we return from from winter break, we will review these questions and discuss implication on our work during second semester.

Some topics we will revisit and dig deeper in January are:
- Lesson Planning
- Real-Time Coaching
- Culture Response Plan Check-In

Starting in January, I will be meeting monthly with the Superintendent to review our portfolio work, focus and progress toward goals [school and district roadmaps]. I look forward to directly sharing with our Superintendent your work and successes! As a reminder, please be sure to use the portfolio Great News form:

As always, I am humbled and honored to be your ILD and co-leading the change of Tulsa's future.

-Your ILD, Julio César Contreras

Note: The next M3 will be Monday, January 11.
