Settlement
The Apache tribes settled on the Great Plains and in the Rocky Mountains. The choose these areas for great hunting and defense against enemies.
The Apache Culture
The women were in prepared the food and made the clothing from the animal hides. Men were the hunters. The Apache made wickiups which were easy for to take down and put up. They moved about every 2 weeks.
The Apache were known for being great trackers, warriors and hunters. They believed it was bad luck to eat before hunting feeling that the gods and spirits would be more likely to provide for hungry hunters. Feel that all living things have spirits.
Natural Resources
The Apache used many natural resources.
- Acorns for bread
- Animal hides for clothes
- Branches and feathers for arrows
