SUMMER ENRICHMENT PACKETS
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction has developed several winter, spring, and summer enrichment packets (Grades K-12) as part of our program to support outstanding academic achievement for students.
Student enrichment packets and answer keys will be posted as a resource all year. Student Enrichment Packets Link We encourage parents to have their students complete the packets for additional practice in the content areas for their grade level.

SUMMER MEALS
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federal program of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) made available to eligible areas and children to ensure that children receive nutritious meals throughout the year. The program merges summer activity programs with a federal meal reimbursement program. Therefore, children (18 years old and younger) get nutritious meals at no cost throughout the summer months.
Prince George’s County Public Schools provides free meals to children during the summer. There are no income requirements or registration to receive free meals. Anyone age 18 or younger may come to eat. Meals must be eaten onsite.

Health care for all students at Prince George's County Public Schools
Hazel Health has partnered with Prince George's County Public Schools to provide access to quality health care services for all students, at no cost to families, this school year. A school health representative can initiate a video visit with a Hazel health care provider while your child is at-school to provide either physical or mental health services. Therapy sessions with Hazel Health are a safe space and are private and confidential.

Children admitted to the kindergarten program must be at least five (5) years old on or before September 1 of the school year in which they apply for entrance. If your child does not meet this criteria, you may apply for Early Entrance. To be eligible for Early Entrance, your child must turn five (5) years old between September 2, 2023 and October 15, 2023.
