The astonishing lady liberty.
Lady liberty is enormous!
The Statue of Liberty was a massive structure. For example the Statue of Liberty is 305' ft in the air.This structure weighs in at about 204 metric tons . If anyone wanted to reach the Statue of Liberty crown they must climb 354 stairs. If lady liberty had to wear shoes she would would wear a size 879. If lady liberty was to lay flat she would be taller than the ship that which brought her to America .
The great gift from France
The Statue of Liberty was sent to America from France as a sign of peace. June 18, 1885 the Statue of Liberty arrived in America. The Statue of Liberty arrived in 213 crates on ship isere a French navy ship. It took nearly a year for the statue to get to America. Before the statue was sent to America ,Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi himself traveled to America.
The guy behind it all .
The creators of the Statue of Liberty have also created more spectacular monuments.
Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi was the guy behind the magnificent Statue of Liberty. Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi couldn't do it self in fact, Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel the guy who created the Eiffel Tower was behind the Statue of Liberty steel work. Because of these guys immigrants who came to America reached" the land of their dreams."
The land of Imagrants dreams.
Between 1892 to 1954 twelve million immigrants entered the Statue of Liberty.
When immigrants first got to America the statue meant they had arrived at the "land of their dreams". This wouldn't be the case for everyone 2% of the immigrants was denied because their criminal background,insanity or diseases .
The statue of liberty is an amazing statue than many people visit. The statue is off the harbor of New York. On all sides the Statue of Liberty is surrounded by water on Ellis Island. The statue has been struck by lightning every year at least 16 times. This statue will be forever in our history.
