Parts of a Computer
CPU
The central processing unit (CPU) processes all of the data that is accessed by the machine.
RAM
Random access memory (RAM) provides a buffer between the hard drive and central processing unit.
Hard Drive
A hard drive provides permanent storage for the operating system programs and files on a computer. When files are saved to the hard drive they are still saved through power outages.
Optical drive
an optical drive is any drive that reads the data through optic technology.
Motherboard
a main board of the computer that has many chips on it. the motherboard make the computer work it is also where the memory and processing are found.
Chip
a small piece inside the computer that helps your computer work chips have to be programmed by people or they dont work there are many chips in a computer.
