Thank you to everyone that came out to support our GHS students at their Spring Dance Performance last evening! They have their final performance this evening (May 5th) at 7pm in the GHS Auditorium.
Congratulations to GHS Senior Aiden Theriot for being named Mr. Wonderful!
We are down to the last few weeks of the second semester and the school year. Please encourage your child to finish the year strong. Their punctuality to all classes as well as their overall attendance are important indicators of student success.
Congratulations to all the ROTC and FFA students that were recognized this past week at their awards ceremony and banquet.
May 8th - 12th is Teacher Appreciation Week! We appreciate all that our GHS teachers do!
Congratulations to senior McKenzie Schoenhardt. The volleyball libero committed to study and play at the University of Arizona.
Please come out and support our Performing Arts Department in their final upcoming performances. Orchestra (May 11th), Band (May 16th) and Choir (May 18th). Each concert/performance is at 7 pm in the GHS Auditorium.
The boys track 4x400m relay team (Connor Littau, Eli Jackson, Preston Rohr and Vance Nilsson) broke their own school record this Thursday in the AIA D1 State preliminaries. They head into the weekend finals as the number 1 seed.
The GHS Girls’ Flag Football Team remains undefeated (6-0) after wins over Higley High School and Mesquite High School this week. They begin playoff competition next Thursday.

Gilbert Accelerated Middle School
Gilbert High School is the home to the Gilbert Accelerated Middle School this incoming 2022-23 school year! We are excited to announce that our Tiger Zen Mindfulness Center will be open for student use during 4th and 5th hour lunches. This is a quiet space where our students can come voluntarily should they need it. When utilizing this calm space, students are expected to engage in mindfulness practice. The Gilbert Education Foundation (GEF) is pleased to be able to offer scholarships to all graduation g seniors of Gilbert Public Schools. Note that all scholarships are available for all GPA's, fields of study, types of schools. etc. Do not miss this opportunity to help fund your education!

Free Meals for Free and Reduced Students
The Arizona Department of Education will waive fees for breakfast and lunch for students qualifying for reduced-price school meals beginning January 2023. This investment will make school meals free for thousands of Arizona students who are eligible. The funding will last through the end of the 2023/24 school year.
