As Covid numbers are declining and more people are getting vaccinated, we are excited to be shifting gears toward learning in person! We thank everyone; family members, staff, students, and teachers who spend so much time and effort making connections possible. THANK YOU!!

Tplus Graduation June 8 @ 11:30
There is a limit of 4 tickets per graduate. Tickets are free and can be obtained through a ticketing app called Hometown Gate ticketing. More details, including how to obtain tickets will be shared as they become available. (HomeTown Apple ) (HomeTown Android)
Send recent candid pictures of your graduate to Jeremiah.satterthwaite@mpls.k12.mn.us by May 21 so they can be included in the graduation slideshow.
Students will be taking graduation photos in their cap and gown at Transition Plus on
- Thursday, May 13th
- Friday, May 14th
- Wednesday, May 19th
- Distance Learning graduates and families provide their own transportation to graduation and graduation photos.
Caps and Gowns will be selected by students before their photos. Graduates can keep their caps after the graduation ceremony. Gowns should be returned to the school.

Students are no longer to able switch their learning style for the remainder of this year according to MPS.

Home Screening should be done each day before sending your student to school.

- Advisory/Breakfast: 9:30 - 10:00
- Period 1: 10:00 - 10:55
- Period 2: 11:00 - 11:55
- Lunch/Advisory Rotations: 12:00 - 1:30
- Period 3: 1:30 - 2:25
- Period 4: 2:30 - 3:25
- Advisory: 3:30 - 3:55

Update Your School Communication Preferences
- The school must be notified of updates of contact information - the school does not send school updates.
- Be sure to receive text messages by sending a "Y" to 67587.
- Families can manage their communication preferences by creating a SchoolMessenger account

Site Council 5/20 @ 4:30
Site council meets the third Thursday of every month at 4:30 pm via Google Meets. Our next meeting will be Thursday, May 20th at 4:30 pm.
Site Council is searching for active participants who can help collaborate with others to generate ideas of how our Transition Plus community operates. Students and parents are strongly encouraged to join.

Get your Vaccine
Family Voices for Minnesota has developed information to help these individuals schedule appointments and receive vaccines.

New Vaccine Opportunities
**HACER & MN Vaccination Program offers Vaccines at the State Fair Grounds**
- April 14 - June 9
- Appointment required
- Free Metro Transit ride by showing your appt confirmation email
- No ID or Insurance needed
- Call HACER 651-304-6145 for an appointment to get vaccinated in the parking lot in front of the State Fair grounds, in Como Ave, Falcon Heights.
- HACER will also help you navigate the Vaccine Connector that continues to be open to the public.
**Broadway Family Medicine Vaccination Bus**
- WHEN: 9:00 - 3:00 Monday, 5/17 (Johnson&Johnson Vaccine) & Tuesday, 5/18 (Moderna Vaccine)
- HOW: Sign up by Thursday, 5/13. Send the name and date of birth of anyone who wants a vaccine to Filisha Thor fthor10@umphysicians.umn.edu or Rosemary Robinson rrobinso10@umphysicians.umn.edu Some walk-in appointments will be available if you cannot sign up ahead of time.
- WHAT: Vaccines are available to anyone 18 and older. The Covid vaccine is free. You will not be asked for insurand or ID.

COVID Tracking App
As you may have heard from Governor Walz, the State has rolled out a Covid tracking app which is described as voluntary, anonymous, and secure.
The more people who use it, the more effective the app will be.
