Week of April 13, 2020
A Message From Principal Grey
Dear Grant Community,
I know how hard you are all working to help support your children in their distance learning and our staff at Grant deeply appreciates all of your incredible efforts. In lieu of thanking you in person on this beautiful Tuesday, we have created a little slide show for you and your students to thank you from afar! From our hearts to yours. :-)
With love and gratitude,
Ms. Grey

We Need Your Photos For the Grant Yearbook
You can also upload them to the class file on treering.com, where you can also buy a yearbook if you haven't yet, and have it sent to your home.
We are getting down to the wire and we really need your help. With so many end of year events canceled, we'd love to include your pictures!
The Yearbook Cover Contest continues. Students can send their artwork by taking a photo of it and uploading it to treering.com. Deadline for submissions: April 17th.

GRANT OUTDOOR FACILITIES ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED
Due to state and county orders, all school playgrounds, parks, and other outdoor facilities (e.g. tennis courts, tracks, etc.) are closed until further notice. We need to ask people not to congregate at Grant School and to follow the orders. Thank you.
Mindfulness Sessions with Ozlem Extended through April and May!
Thanks to our generous PTA community, Ozlem will be able to offer her classes and personal sessions to Grant students through the rest of April and May. This is a great addition to any student's weekly routine during a stressful time.
Join our wonderful school mindfulness instructor, Ozlem, for a 15-minute mindfulness check-in. She will connect with our students 1:1 online, and practice mindfulness with some
simple movement. There is no cost. Here is the link to book a session!
