Online Resources
ReadTheory.org is a great website for practicing and improving reading comprehension. Soon, you should receive login information for your child so that he can use this site at home. This website gives excellent test prep for reading comprehension and allows you to track your child's progress and effort.
Khan Academy is a HUGE resource for learning. If your child hasn't set up an account on Khan Academy, I highly encourage you to do that today! There's Khan Academy kids for our younger students as well. Both are great extensions of what your child is learning in school!
These are all excellent resources to extend your child's learning and prepare for tests. We know that memorizing facts does not equal learning, so the more at home practice you can give your child, the better! Plus, these are great things to have your child do on a "Snow Day" or other day off of school!
Ties and Tiaras
Whether you're a father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle, cousin, or family friend, you play a big role in the girls' lives and we want to celebrate you! For one night only, you can take your princess(es) out for a night on the town where you will all be treated like royalty. We invite you to put on your Sunday best, and get ready to hit the dance floor.
This event is open to ALL, so invite your family and friends to share in the fun!
Advanced tickets can be purchased in the school office. For more information on this special event, contact the school office at: info@stpatrickkc.com.
Snake Saturday Parade
How can you help?
1. Float construction will begin soon and will be held every Wednesday night from 5-8pm downstairs in the church.
2. We are asking all school families to donate ONE large bag of candy for the parade.
3. We are inviting all school families to join in the fun on Saturday, March 16 as we walk in the annual Snake Saturday parade. Dress in all the green you can find, along with your official St. Patrick Snake Saturday sweatshirt (coming soon) and join in the fun!
Contact the school office at info@stpatrickkc.com for more information.
