How did I know if a person knew how to play? What things did I do to assist those who did not understand? How quickly did I intervene?
What are things to consider when assessing mastery? Can you pinpoint the areas of concern? Do you have a way to track that information?
Can you prove it?
How do you prove that kids are learning? Can you definitely show another person that you are assessing frequently and providing multiple opportunities for mastery?
What are you going to do about it?
What action will you take, once you understand what kids are able to do? How will that affect your lesson plans? Assessments? Tutoring Opportunities?
What do grades tell us?
What is an 86%?
What happened to the other 14%?
What information do percents reflect?
Compliance or non-compliance?
Responsibility?
False positives?
False negatives?
Inflation?
