Can't Hide Our Wildcat Pride
As we reach the halfway point of this school year and look forward to our holiday break it is important to reflect on how far we have come. Each and every day our teachers come to school to facilitate amazing learning for our students. Over the next few weeks, your children will have opportunities to share what they have learned. We will take that data to inform decisions as we plan to better personalize their learning for the 2nd half of the school year. It is important to us that you are a part of this process because as a team we are so much more effective. Please help us as we look to plan for next semester by taking this brief survey. Your input is so important to us and helps us to better serve our students and families.
I am both extremely thankful and grateful for the great things that are happening here at Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School. We wish each family happy holidays and hope they have a wonderful break spent with their family and friends. We are excited about the opportunities in front of us to make this year the best yet.

Please take a moment to view our FY22 Parent and Family Engagement Plan. This plan describes the different ways that Glanton-Hindsman Elementary will support family engagement. It also describes how parents can help plan and participate in activities and events to promote student learning at school and at home.
Last month, we had the opportunity to recognize some of our students who set the example when it comes to our Wildcat Pride Expectations. They were rewarded for their behavior with free tickets to the VRHS football game! Way to go, Wildcats!
Classroom Spelling Bee Winners
Help us congratulate these Wildcats! Each of these students placed in the 5k Temple Tiger Dash over the weekend. Way to go guys! We are so proud of you!
Congratulations to our students who were recognized in November. We celebrated students with 90% positive Dojo behavior, students who displayed our character word of the month, and those who earned the Principal's Award! Way to go Wildcats! We also kept track of the total number of words our students read in the month of November and rewarded the top class in each grade level with ice cream. Students can contribute to their class word count by reading and passing AR quizzes.
