Principal's Message
Dear Skyline Families,
Next week is the last full school week before winter break and coincidentally, my last week as the substitute principal at Skyline. I have enjoyed being here and hope that in the future if Principal Aguirre needs coverage that I will be able to return. I know Principal Aguirre is looking forward to returning after winter break. Please take the time when you come to school to welcome her back.
This morning we had a fabulous assembly honoring the IB trait of Inquiry. The curious mind is a mind that is continually growing and learning. It is wonderful to see Skyline students expanding their understanding of literature, math, science, music, art and the world around them. I appreciated all the parents who came and helped honor their students who earned the Inquiry award.
I have a previously scheduled all day appointment on Friday, December 14th, so Thursday will be my last day.
Have a Fabulously Fantastic Friday and a Wonderful Weekend.

Middle School Choir
By popular demand! All middle school students are invited to participate in Choir.
When: Wednesday mornings when buses arrive until 8:41 (15-minute sessions each week)
How: Students who are interested should attend the short sessions on Wednesdays. Students will receive via email links to the recordings for parts of each song. They will then learn their part on their own time. Students will then sing these parts together as a Choir during our short Wednesday sessions. When a song comes together and is polished and ready, the Choir will perform for a school assembly or even the school talent show!
Thank you!
