Please practice these facts at home. The following facts should be memorized!
- Doubles
- adding 1
- adding 2
- subtracting 1
- subtracting 2
- Doubles plus 1
- Making ten (1+9, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6, 5+5)
- Adding 10 and Adding 9
There are tons of free math fact apps. This is a great way to practice! I suggest keeping a set of flash cards in the car. 5-10 minute car rides are perfect for quick practice.
If you would like a set of flash cards please let me know! I would be happy to send some home for extra practice. Thanks for your help!
Homework
Fluency Pages
Each week I will be sending home a fluency page with your child. These are all words and phrases that your child should be able to read! These follow the vowel and consonant pattern for the week. Students can practice reading these pages during their 15 minutes of reading. Thank you for working with your child at home!
