Early Dismissal: Your Child Misses Instruction!

Early Dismissal Makes it Easier: Costs your Child Over Time!

A Few Parent to Parent Tips:

Make appointments in the late afternoon or weekend. (Children's provides Saturday Appointments).

Try to schedule family appointments at the same time every year, so that you can take all children at once on the same day.

If you have to pick your child up early, be sure to get any missed assignments to make sure that they don't fall behind.

By 2:00 PM Early Dismissal: Why Ms. Pela?

Safety Too!

We prevent movement at this time of the day due to our need to keep scholars safe and socially distanced as possible. We want to ensure that we are moving in a way that lessens Covid transmission rates. We make all decisions with the safety and well being of children in mind.

We do not want to make your lives more difficult. We want to keep children safe and prevent learning loss.

Please help us to do that! We need you!

Extra Precautions: Covid Safety

Keeping your Child Safe!

Beginning October 12th, students will be given personal face shields in addition to the masks your provide, that they can wear throughout the day. As we approach cold and flu season, it is our goal to provide additional protection for your child and family.

Each child will be provided a face shield to wear while in class. It will remain in class and sanitized at the end of each day.

Adult Conduct and Safety Expectations

It is my expectation that all adults (staff and parents) over the age of 18 at Hope Tolson Community Charter School conduct themselves in a way in which our children can be proud of.

What our Children Need...

THEY NEED US! PARENTS/ FAMILIES AND STAFF TO MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THEY ARE SAFE AND SECURE!

They need us to set the example and I know in my heart that we can do it together as partners.

Who We Are:

We are a school community of love and kindness ! We are working hard to ensure that we are working to provide an example for your children and our students.

WHAT WE DO:

We want to ensure that all students are safe and feel that school is a place of peace and joy.

While we cannot control what is happening in the world, as the Adults of Hope Tolson, we can control the climate and atmosphere we provide for your children and our students.

If there is a need or concern ,it is our job as Parent ADULTS and Staff ADULTS to resolve all matters PEACEFULLY. We can resolve anything together!

WE WILL ensure that we are making YOUR children AND OUR STUDENTS first and that we all remain safe.

All adults (Families and Staff) will use appropriate conduct when interacting in person and virtually so that we can ensure that our children feel comfortable and secure.

I GUARANTEE, THAT WE CAN WORK OUT ANY NEED AS A TEAM!

WE WILL GET THERE!

ITS BEEN A CHALLENGE FOR US ALL, BUT WE CAN DO IT AND BE THE BEST SCHOOL IN WARD 5!

WE HAVE THE BEST STUDENTS!

WE HAVE THE BEST FAMILIES!

WE HAVE THE BEST STAFF!
