Volunteers needed in the library
Keep the Parent Pick up line moving.
- PUT YOUR PHONE AWAY - we are getting large gaps between cars because people are not paying attention to the car in front of them. This slows the process way down. MN does have a hands free law.
- Be sure your family number is easily visible for the adult calling in numbers. The adult calling in the numbers should not have to step into the snow to read your number. Many numbers are sliding too far down the front windshield to be seen.
- If you have not picked up your student by 2:25 they will be brought to the office When you get to Congdon please park in the 15 minute spot and call the office to let them know you are here. 218.336.8825 ext 0.
Important Cold Weather Information
Below are our Cold Weather Reminders. Please also remember to have a contingency plan in case your child's bus route is cancelled due to driver shortages or school is cancelled.
RECESS and Crossing Guard cold weather criteria
- There will be inside recess and no crossing guards when the wind chills or actual temperatures are colder than -17 degrees. If street corners are dangerous due to snow accumulations, Crossing Guards will not be out.
- Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Students do great outside during their 20-25 minute recess but they need to be dressed for it!
