Mental Health Awareness Month and the Benefits of Self Care Practices
Wednesday, May 25, 2022
7:00-8:30 PM
For many of us, self-care means doing the things that we enjoy most to improve our quality of life. But several things can prevent us from engaging in regular self-care; whether it be prioritizing the care of others over ourselves, simply not having time, or may not be maximizing the effects of our self-care activities. Join some of the clinical staff from High Focus Centers as we present some of the evidence-based, therapeutic principles of self-care from licensed therapists.

RELAY FOR LIFE
Next Friday, May 20th, OAS Elementary will participate in Relay for Life.
Your student will be bringing home a bag to decorate and a flyer about the event today. They must return it to school by Wednesday May 18th.
We need help! We are looking for volunteers to help us set up the bags (add sand to them and line on the path around OAS) Friday morning from 9-9:30AM. Please click here to sign up to help!
Our students will do their walk at the start of recess that afternoon (5/20). Later on bags from all of the schools will be added and they will be part of the big event that night.
