Womens Voting Rights!
Earning the right!
90 years ago women were unable to vote and they were unhappy about it.They spent decades fighting and protesting trying to earn the right to vote for all women in the united states. Women held picket lines, freedom marches and protests to try and change the minds of america. Until it finally worked in 1920.
Women Had to face many challenges in the process of Womens Suffrage and none of them were easy. But the hardest thing to overcome for them was the men. The men taunted them and went against them. The men made the protesting harder. Many marriages were ruined and many people we killed in the fight to vote. But it finally happened, The 19th amendment was passed and women were finally allowed to vote.
