Holiday Goals For The Winter Break

The holidays are a time for rest and relaxation, but also coming together as a family. Feel free to use this holiday goal setting page to set your families' priorities while you are away from school.

We hope you have a great time making memories with your friends and family. Make sure to "sharpen the saw" during your time away from Pathfinder.

Thank You Office Max!

Thank you to Office Max at 8341 NW Roanridge Road in Kansas City (same shopping center as the AMC Theater), who selected Pathfinder Elementary as the recipient for a small school supply drive! From now until December 31, shoppers can purchase pre-made bags with classroom basics or "adopt a class" with specific items needed by our teachers.#CommunityCollaboration #ThankfulPirates

Pirates ROCK Character Trait: COMPASSION

Pirates R.O.C.K. (Raising Outstanding Character Kids) is a program designed to surround our families with examples of strong character traits through school experiences, at home, and reinforced in their community. Each month our community focuses on a specific character trait and students are recognized for exhibiting these traits: Self Confidence, Pride, Responsibility, Citizenship, Compassion, Individuality, Self Control, Integrity, Perseverance, Respect, Honesty, and Cooperation.

December's #PiratesROCK trait is COMPASSION: showing concern through words & actions.

Bullying and Safety Concerns: SafeSchools Alert

Safety is one of our district’s top priorities and to help safeguard our school community, our district uses SafeSchools Alert, a tip reporting service that allows students, staff, and parents to submit safety concerns to our administration.

You and your child can easily report tips on bullying, harassment, or any safety issue you're concerned about through SafeSchools Alert. On the homepage of the district website (www.plattecountyschooldistrict.com) and on each school building's homepage there is a SafeSchools Alert icon under Site Shortcuts which links to the reporting tool.

Every tip SafeSchools Alert receives about our district is immediately logged in the system and our administration is notified so that they can investigate and take appropriate action. Tips may also be submitted anonymously if you prefer.

Together, using SafeSchools Alert, we can make our district a safer place to learn. Click the icon below to submit a tip or concern.
