Its Cool to Use Hydrogen Fuel!

The new alternative energy source: Hydrogen Fuel Cells!

How it works!

Hydrogen rich fuels enter fuel cell stacks and react chemically with oxygen to produce water and an electric current.

Materials needed:

  • Hydrogen
  • Oxygen
  • Hydrogen fuel cells to convert them into energy

Cost, Maintenance, and Longevity

Hydrogen fuel costs can be up to $1000 for every kilowatt of energy used or even 100,000 for every car that runs on the energy. The maintenance costs usually are lower for hydrogen fuel cells because there are less moving parts. if you move less there is less friction; and friction is what tends to damage vehicles and then require maintenance.

Possible uses:

  • Hydrogen fuel cells are environmental and can be used with high fuel efficiency while giving off very low emissions.
  • Since the fuel cells work on many different fuels, and contain nor moving parts; this makes it easier to operate, both quietly and reliable.

Hydrogen fuels can be expensive, its difficult to move around, its highly flammable, and has a dependency on fossil fuels to separate it from oxygen.
