THE MOTHERBOARD, THE POWER SUPPLY, THE CPU AND THE VIDEO CARD
The Power Supply is the part that gives electric energy to the monitor and the motherboard, it usually has a fan next to it.
The CPU, it is the Central Processing Unit, it turns and processes the data you are working on.
The Video Card is the part of the computer which creates the images that you see on the monitor.
THE RAM, THE HARD DISK AND THE OPTICAL DRIVE
The RAM is the part that holds and runs the programs you are working on or using.
The OPTICAL DRIVE is the part that uses lasers to read CD ROMS or DVDs inserted in the motherboard.
