The Mexican Walking Fish is a small amphibian disguised as a fish. It has four legs, grows up to bet less then 12 inches at adulthood, and colors range from pink, gold, brown, black, and albino. It is missing from the high altitude lakes around Mexico City, where it helps control, the population of worms and small fish. It was last seen in lake Xochimilco, one of the two lakes in which it is known to have lived. The are currently none of them left in the wild but Mexico continues to search for them because the are one of the few remaining links to their ancient Aztec culture.
